Sten

Sten is a member of the Beresaad, the military arm of the Qunari, who was found imprisoned in Lothering for the slaughter of a local farming family. Upon being freed by the Grey Warden, he offers his service to the party, motivated by a sense of duty and the need to restore his honour after surviving a battle against darkspawn where his comrades perished. Unlike other companions such as Alistair Theirin or Leliana, Sten remains deeply committed to the philosophy of the Qun, often providing a blunt, detached perspective on the cultural norms of Thedas.

As a warrior, Sten serves as a formidable damage dealer, capable of wielding massive two-handed weapons to cleave through darkspawn ranks. Throughout the journey, he observes the Warden's leadership, eventually offering his respect if the player proves their strength and discipline. His presence adds significant depth to the party's dynamic, particularly when interacting with companions like Morrigan or Oghren.
