Leliana
Leliana is a former Orlesian bard and operative of the Chantry who serves as a key companion and advisor throughout the Dragon Age series.
Leliana first appears in Dragon Age: Origins as a companion to the Warden, having abandoned her life as a bard in Orlais to seek redemption through the Chantry. She possesses a unique set of skills as an infiltrator and spy, often providing critical intelligence and support during the Fifth Blight. Her personal journey is shaped by her faith and her complex past, which can lead her to become either a hardened assassin or a compassionate figure of mercy.
Role in the Inquisition
In later entries of the series, Leliana serves as the Spymaster for the Inquisition, operating under the title of Sister Nightingale. She manages the organization's intelligence network, utilizing her expertise to counter threats such as the Venatori and the Red Templars. Working alongside other influential figures like Alistair Theirin or Morrigan, she remains a pivotal character whose actions influence the political landscape of Thedas.
