Samwise Gamgee
Samwise Gamgee is a Hobbit of the Shire who serves as the loyal companion to Frodo Baggins during the quest to destroy the One Ring.
Samwise Gamgee, often known as Sam, was the gardener of Bag End and a devoted friend to Frodo Baggins. He became a member of the Fellowship of the Ring and remained by Frodo's side throughout the perilous journey to Mordor. His unwavering courage and resilience proved essential in ensuring the destruction of the One Ring in the fires of Mount Doom.
Legacy
Following the defeat of Sauron, Sam returned to the Shire and married Rosie Cotton. He served as the Mayor of Michel Delving for seven consecutive terms and was widely celebrated for his role in the War of the Ring. As the last of the Ring-bearers to depart Middle-earth, he eventually sailed from the Grey Havens to the Undying Lands to reunite with his companions, including Gandalf the Grey and Frodo Baggins.
