Gimli

Gimli is a formidable dwarf warrior and a key member of the Fellowship of the Ring who plays a vital role in the War of the Ring.

Gimli, son of Gloin, is a representative of the Dwarves of Erebor who joins the Fellowship of the Ring at the Council of Elrond. Armed with a heavy battle axe, he proves himself a stalwart defender of his companions, including Aragorn and Gandalf the Grey, throughout their perilous journey to destroy the One Ring.

Friendship and Legacy

Despite the historical animosity between their races, Gimli forms an enduring and legendary friendship with the Elf Legolas Greenleaf. This bond becomes a symbol of unity during the conflict against Sauron. Alongside fellow members of the Fellowship such as Frodo Baggins, Samwise Gamgee, Meriadoc Brandybuck, and Peregrin Took, Gimli displays immense courage in the face of overwhelming odds, ultimately helping to secure victory for the Free Peoples of Middle-earth.
