Aragorn

Aragorn, also known as Strider, is the rightful heir to the throne of Gondor and a pivotal leader in the War of the Ring.

Aragorn II, son of Arathorn, is a Dúnedain Ranger and the last chieftain of the Dúnedain of the North. Known to many as Strider during his time in Bree, he spent much of his life living in the shadows to protect the realm from the growing darkness of Sauron. His lineage as the descendant of Isildur makes him the true heir to the throne of Gondor and Arnor, a destiny he eventually embraces to unite the free peoples of Middle-earth.

Role in the War of the Ring

Aragorn became a central figure in the Fellowship of the Ring, serving as a protector and guide to Frodo Baggins and his companions, Samwise Gamgee, Meriadoc Brandybuck, and Peregrin Took. Alongside his allies Gandalf the Grey, Legolas Greenleaf, and Gimli, he played a crucial role in the battles against the forces of Saruman and Sauron. His leadership at the Battle of the Pelennor Fields and the final stand at the Black Gate proved essential in distracting the Dark Lord's gaze, allowing the quest to destroy the One Ring to succeed.
