Marella

Marella, portrayed by Deborah Pratt, was a prominent recurring character in the first two seasons of Airwolf. She served as the enigmatic and capable assistant to Michael Coldsmith-Briggs III, codenamed "Archangel," the Deputy Director of the covert CIA division known as The F.I.R.M. Her role primarily involved providing intelligence support, coordinating missions, and running computer and file searches for Archangel and the Airwolf team.

Known for her professional and reliable demeanour, Marella possessed an exceptional educational background, including five doctorate degrees in fields such as Aeronautical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Psychology, Microbiology, and French Literature, and was one year short of a medical doctor degree. She also had pilot training and occasionally acted as a pilot or chauffeur for Archangel. While fiercely protective of Archangel, she was also shown to secretly assist Stringfellow Hawke on several occasions. Marella appeared in 14 episodes across seasons one and two before Deborah Pratt's departure from the series.
