Design and Capabilities

Goliath is a custom-built, black semi-truck designed by Garthe Knight, the estranged son of Wilton Knight. The vehicle is encased in the same molecular bonded shell as KITT, rendering it virtually impervious to conventional weaponry, including missiles and gunfire. Its primary purpose is to serve as a mobile fortress and a destructive weapon capable of ramming through obstacles and neutralising law enforcement vehicles with ease.

Role in the Series

The truck was engineered specifically to destroy Michael Knight and KITT. During their initial confrontations, Goliath proved to be a formidable adversary, as KITT's standard scanners and weapons were unable to penetrate its reinforced exterior. The vehicle is typically operated by Garthe Knight, who utilises it to facilitate high-stakes criminal operations and to challenge the authority of the Foundation for Law and Government. Its existence represents one of the most significant technological threats faced by the team throughout the series.
