April Curtis joined the Foundation for Law and Government to replace Bonnie Barstow as the lead engineer responsible for the maintenance and repair of KITT. Working closely with Devon Miles and Michael Knight, she provided essential technical support, ensuring the advanced systems of the Knight Industries Two Thousand remained operational during high-stakes missions.

Expertise and Departure

Beyond her mechanical prowess, Curtis was instrumental in various field operations, often utilising her skills to assist in complex investigations. Her tenure at the Foundation was marked by her dedication to the safety of the vehicle and its driver. She eventually departed the organisation, allowing for the return of her predecessor, though she remains a key figure in the history of the Foundation's technological development.
