Hammer

The Hammer is a heavily armoured hovercraft commanded by Captain Roland. Unlike many other ships in the Zion fleet, it is notable for being the sole survivor of the disastrous counter-attack against the machine city, an engagement that resulted in the destruction of the rest of the human fleet after their EMPs were triggered prematurely.

Following the massacre, the crew of the Hammer discovered Neo in a comatose state within the Source, having been trapped there after his confrontation with the Machines. The ship subsequently returned to Zion to deliver Neo and Trinity, providing the vital support necessary for Neo to travel to the Machine City to broker a peace treaty. The vessel serves as a symbol of human resilience and the last line of defence for the city of Zion.
