Krang is a disembodied alien warlord from Dimension X who serves as a primary antagonist to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and a frequent ally of the Shredder.
Origins and Appearance
Krang is a brain-like extraterrestrial entity originating from the hostile Dimension X. Following his exile from his home dimension, he arrived on Earth where he formed a strategic partnership with the Shredder. Physically, Krang is unable to move or fight independently, necessitating the use of a massive, heavily armed humanoid android body to interact with his surroundings and engage in combat.
Role in the Franchise
Operating primarily from the Technodrome, a massive mobile fortress, Krang provides the Shredder with advanced alien technology and weaponry to facilitate their conquest of Earth. His schemes often involve opening portals to Dimension X or creating mutant soldiers to eliminate the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and their mentor, Splinter.
