Street Hawk motorcycle

The Street Hawk motorcycle is a prototype, high-tech, all-terrain attack vehicle developed by federal agent and scientist Norman Tuttle for a classified government mission to combat urban crime. It is operated by former motorcycle police officer Jesse Mach, who uses the vehicle as a masked vigilante. The motorcycle itself was based on modified Honda XR500s for the series, with the pilot episode utilising a Honda XL500, and its distinctive bodywork was designed by Andrew Probert and later redesigned by Ron Cobb.

Equipped with cutting-edge technology, the Street Hawk boasts incredible capabilities. Its most notable feature is the "hyperthrust" mode, allowing it to reach speeds of up to 300 miles per hour. For offensive measures, it carries immense firepower, including a laser cannon, machine guns, and rocket launchers, with some accounts also mentioning a particle beam cannon. The motorcycle is also bulletproof and features a computer-controlled system that provides Jesse Mach with real-time mission information, as well as compressed-air vertical lifters for impressive jumps and infrared cameras.

The Street Hawk motorcycle is central to the series, serving as the primary instrument for Jesse Mach to carry out his secret crime-fighting operations.
