Snarf is an elderly humanoid creature of the Snarf species who serves as the loyal nursemaid and protector to Lion-O during the ThunderCats' exile on Third Earth.
Background
Snarf, whose birth name is Osbert, is a member of the Snarf species native to the planet Thundera. He acted as the nursemaid to the young Lord of the ThunderCats, Lion-O, during his childhood. Following the destruction of Thundera, Snarf accompanied the survivors to Third Earth, where he continued to provide guidance and support to the group despite his small stature and lack of combat prowess.
Role and Abilities
While Snarf often expresses caution and prefers to avoid danger, he is fiercely loyal to the ThunderCats and frequently assists them by using his knowledge of Third Earth and his ability to communicate with various creatures. He possesses a unique ability to change his form to a limited extent and can emit a sonic distress signal. Though he is not a warrior, his role as a caretaker and his deep bond with Lion-O make him an essential member of the household at Cats Lair.
