Cheetara

Cheetara is a prominent member of the ThunderCats, distinguished by her cheetah-like appearance and extraordinary abilities. As a Thunderian noble, she is one of the few survivors who fled the dying planet Thundera to settle on Third Earth. She serves as a fierce warrior and, in some iterations, is the last living Cleric, a religious order among the ThunderCats.

Her primary powers include incredible superhuman speed, allowing her to move at speeds up to 120 mph, though she can only maintain this for brief periods before becoming exhausted. Cheetara also possesses a "sixth sense" or precognitive ability, which enables her to detect danger or evil nearby and occasionally experience visions of past or future events. This psychic gift can be taxing, sometimes leaving her weakened for days. In combat, Cheetara wields a versatile bo staff that can extend to various lengths, fire energy blasts, and even serve as a communicator.

Cheetara is characterised by her composed, intelligent, and loyal demeanour, often acting as the voice of reason within the team. She is emotionally mature and supportive, particularly towards Lion-O, and her deep compassion and bravery make her a spiritual anchor for the ThunderCats. Her speed and strategic insight have often been crucial in saving her teammates from perilous situations, making her an indispensable asset in their ongoing struggle against Mumm-Ra and other adversaries. In the 2011 animated series and the WildStorm/DC Comics, she develops a romantic relationship with Tygra.
