Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding

Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding is an American made-for-television action comedy film that premiered on Fox on 28 February 2003. Also known as Baywatch: Hawaiian Reunion in some regions, the film served as a highly anticipated reunion for the beloved television series, bringing back a large ensemble of its iconic characters.

The plot sees the return of Mitch Buchannon, who was presumed dead at the end of the tenth season, but is revealed to have suffered from amnesia and has been recovering in a Los Angeles hospital. Now retired from lifeguard duty, Mitch plans to marry his new fiancée, Allison Ford, in Hawaii. However, Allison bears a striking resemblance to Mitch's deceased former love, Lieutenant Stephanie Holden, and is secretly collaborating with Mitch's old nemesis, Mason Sato, to enact a scheme of revenge. Many former Baywatch lifeguards, including C.J. Parker, Caroline Holden, and Eddie Kramer, gather in Hawaii for the wedding and a reunion at C.J.'s new bar and grill, soon finding themselves embroiled in Sato's dangerous plot.

The film is significant as it brought together a substantial portion of the original Baywatch cast, providing a "final touch" to the series and resolving several long-standing character arcs, most notably Mitch Buchannon's fate. It allowed fans to see what many of their favourite characters had been doing since the series concluded and featured new romantic pairings and reconciliations, such as Mitch and Neely Capshaw, and C.J.
