But when they're killed Mike decides to investigate and finds himself in the middle of something involving the Feds.

A chance sighting at the race track changes the focus of Hammer's investigation back to the fashion house when one of the suppliers is in debt to a mob bookie. Help eventually comes from an unlikely source.
